Churchill
travel insurance provide both Annual travel insurance
and Single trip travel insurance.
Annual
travel insurance provides 180 days of cover, with each
trip allowing you up to 45 days away and you can earn
up to 10% no claim discount and pay over 4 monthly installments.
Single
trip travel insurance covers you from one day to 90
days - which is one long holiday!
General

A
good clean site, it has more questions than a lot of
the others, but the premiums are calcutated on a daily
basis. The premium screen gives you the premiums for
all the annual trip destinations which is a useful feature
to see how much you could save buying Annual travel
insurance compared to two single trip policies
Though you decide if you want a Single trip or Annual
policy up front, you can switch easily between the two
from the premium screen.
Annual
trip travel insurance:
First
screen: Dates and destination
- When would you like your policy to start (the policy
will run for a year from this start date)
- Select the region you will be travelling to in the
next year: Europe, Worldwide (exluding USA) or Worldwide
(including USA)

Does your trip involve a cruise
- Postcode
- Age of travellers (you can add upto 10 travellers
per policy)
- 3 marketing questions including a place to add a special
promotional code (presumably to allow a discount?)
Second
screen: Tailoring your quote
- Do you require personal baggage cover (this covers
personal items)
- Increase your personal baggage cover (if you are intending
to take high value items, camcorders, cameras, iPods
etc then you should take this cover)
- If you are thinking of doing additional activities
i.e. Golf, Winter sports or getting married then select
the appropriate covers
- Select excess (two options £0 or £40 -
obviously having a £40 excess will reduce the
premium)
- Would you like the policy to be automatically renewed
(by selecting yes the premium will be reduced - plus
it means you don't have to worry about not being insured
the following year)
