and annual multi-trip policies and offer upto 5% online
discount and a no excess option.
General
comments:
Marks
& Spencer offer a quick quote functionality for
both annual and single trip to give an indicative price
but it needs to have it as the main quote process is
6 pages long!
Strangely though the quick quote quoted £32 for
a family trip to Europe for 6-10 days, but the full
quote priced it at £17.
Rather peculiar narrow (unannounced) new window with
the Quote and Buy site opens when you click next one
the exclusions and assumptions page.
"Policy type" is referring to travellers not
whether you want an annual policy or a single trip policy
- which is what you'd expect, that is rather strangely
known as "Period of cover" (which is somewhat
against the normal naming conventions in other travel
insurance policies)
Rubbish error text - the compulsory field marker (an
orange star) changes to a red cross, difficult to see
and no explanation as to why the field is wrong - my
mistake, actually there is an explanation at the bottom
of the page telling you to hover over the cross - note
to M&S: sack your usability and accessibility company!
Premium
page is the most understated premium page of any website
I have ever seen.
