Ever
found yourself standing the the queue at a supermarket
and glanced over at the rows of financial products they
offer? Within these brouchures you will no doubt find
one for Travel insurance as all the big supermarkets
and retailers do it.
However
be warned according to a 'Which?' report (Nov 06) supermarket
holiday insurance products are not good value.
In
a comparison table even the cheapest of the retailers
was £16 more than Travel
Insurance Web with the
Post Office working out over £50 more.
'Which?'
compared 8 major retailers prices for annual travel
insurance and this is how the results came out:

| Travel
Insurance Web |

| Debenhams |
£54 |
| Asda |

| M&S |

The
costs shown here are for a single adult on a multi-trip
worldwide policy
What
the survey does not go into detail about is the cover
levels that are provided for that cost, so though the
prices vary significantly you still need to check the
cover that you get for the money.
